:SPOILER WARNING:

  • Hitting an enemy as their attack starts, will cancel the enemies attack!
  • The spear does less damage than the sword, but it also attacks faster.
  • The pickaxe opens secret rooms, try hitting using it in the room you found it.
  • Last of all, take it slow! Take some time to think critically and look around.

This is really cool! I think the ui took up a bit much space, space that could've been used for more text and more "game" so to speak. I love the arrow system though, it is a bit confusing in the beginning but when you figure it out it's all smooth sailing. Fighting one enemy is not that bad, I found one though (the blobfish looking one) that didn't get it's attacks canceled, and it was really hard to fight more two enemies at once. I really like the small texts that show up, that's the thing I thought was the neatest!

Thanks for playing :)! I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the feedback too. I 100% agree with both of those things, and I plan on fixing them in the next release!

Cool!

I really, really liked this. The aesthetic was a delight and I enjoyed exploring the dungeon. I found all 3 secret rooms, but with only a slither of health and some enemies left in the final room, I didn't dare attempt the secret ending! Combat was interesting, but I struggled in rooms with more than 1 enemy, so my only criticism would be more agency in combat. Overall I really enjoyed this and would happily play some more. :)

Combat, especially with two enemies, is one of the the top things I wanna improve. Hopefully in the future it'll have more of a rhythm and be less chaotic!

Thank you for playing, and I appreciate the feedback too :)
